The idea began with five children who had grown up next door to one another. When one of our families moved from Cheshire to Dorset, staying in touch suddenly became harder. We wanted our children to keep talking, but we had chosen to hold off on smartphones. The alternatives felt too complicated, too open or too dependent on borrowing a parent’s device.

Then came a simple question: why don’t we just get a landline?

That became Cordee. A familiar idea, rebuilt for children and modern family life. Ben joined early in the journey, bringing technical expertise and the same belief in helping families stay connected.
